     Which is equivalent to -40kB, so it looks like something's removing
more buffer than it should be.  I'll look into this, and also try and get
Services 5.1 alpha out soon (which has an improved version of the sockets
code--unfortunately not easily mergeable into 5.0).  Thanks for your help
in debugging this.
