Even in her presence, the area surrounding the throne was wrapped in darkness. She could probably dispel it, being what she was, but that would not be wise. The being who reclined in that throne held a great deal of power, enough to assure her loyalty. And unlike her brother Kharazz, she had no desire to plot against that being. She was, she mused, exactly the opposite of her brother, yet exactly equal in power. But that made sense. He was the Fiend of Shadow; her domain was Light. All of this took only a fraction of a second. Then, she bowed before the Master, awaiting his commands. He began to speak, and she manifested herself completely, to enable her to listen to the words which, to her, were abysmally slow. She only assumed this form when she had to listen or manipulate physical objects. Her brother preferred the form of a Dark Knight, like those of old; she appeared instead as a tall, elegant woman with silver-white hair, clad in a white gown. In this form, she could suppress her aura of radiance to a dim glow that was unnoticable in normal light. If only she could conceal herself at night... Finally, the Master's words came. "Lorrithan." She nodded. "My Lord. The Big Whale is indeed lost. It fell into the sun, and even the greatest wizards of ancient Mysidia, working as one, could not hope to retrieve it. With normal magic dead in this world, it will not be seen again." "Excellent. I have another task for you..." And the Fiend of Light waited once more to serve the Darkness.
