The man lead Lukahn and Edward through the small boat. He looked proud of it. "Like the ship?" he asked them. "Ship?" Edward said. "Hardly. I wouldn't even call this worthy of transportation." The bright look on the man's face disappeared. "Edward!" Lukahn scolded. "You may have grown up in royalty, but there were, and still are, many more people less fortunate than you!" Lukahn could tell that the man's feelings were hurt. "Don't worry 'bout it." the man said. Lukahn could tell he was not lying now. "It might be all I got now, but one day, I will own a great airship. I've been dreaming 'bout it ever since I saw one flyin' through the air." "You lie no more?" Lukahn questioned. "I guess it was Zozo." Edward added. The man had a puzzled look on his face. "What I'm saying is that now that you're out of Zozo, you're not lying." Then he added "As much at least!" "Well..." the man exclaimed as he untied the rope that was keeping the boat from floating away. He began to steer northward "Where am I takin' you, again?" "How about where the king resides?" Edward asked. "Figaro Island?" the man said. "Well, that is where the king WAS last anyone seen him, I believe. But I don't think he's been there lately." "Are you originally from Zozo?" Lukahn asked the man. "No." he replied. "I came from Jidoor. I left when there was rumors of a battle to be fought there." "Lukahn, " said Edward, "that is where Carrick was heading. Right?" "No. That is where we were heading. Remember, you followed me up to Zozo?" "Yeah, but when we last saw him, he was going to Jidoor. I hope he didn't become part of the battle!" "Oh, you know Carrick. He's probably survived in better shape than anyone else." Lukahn said this, but he was a bit worried too. "Figaro Island..." the man said. "In the distance men." He piloted towards the island, heading straight for the desert. "Have you ever been in an airship?" Edward asked the man. "No." he answered. "Have you?" "Yes!" Lukahn chimed in, cutting off Edward. "Trust me, you are not missing much." He then gave Edward a look that said 'let's not get his hopes too high.' When the boat hit the shore of Figaro Island, Lukahn jumped out. He felt a great presence on the island... a royal presence. 'Can it be?' he thought. 'It feels like... back home, when I would visit... Coneria?' "Thank you for your services." Edward said as he climbed out of the boat. "We're in your debt, but we have no money." "Don't worry about it." he said. "I won't take your precious stone." he said with a half smile. "I figure I'll be headin' back to Zozo. And then from there I'll go to Jidoor. See ya'!" He started to paddle, to get the boat moving. After a few seconds, he looked back and waved. "Strange that Zozo can break someone as good hearted as him," Lukahn said. "Well, we're on a royal island." Lukahn remembered his vision of the name Edgar. The demons were no longer there.
