Tucker sat down, staring at the now blue sky, free of dark burning clouds and airships of doom. Nekko walked up to him and sat beside him. The cat nestled up between the two and promptly fell asleep. "One battle down." Tucker said, smiling. "And hopefully, if I ever get my hands on those two fiends, Sascha and Akfek, they're toast!" he said. "Yeah!" Nekko echoed in her juvenile nature. "Who are Sa-cha and Afkick?" Nekko asked. "Well, kid, they're the two evil baddies that caused all the havok and destruction. I haven't heard too much about them, but from the records, it seems that they were the ones who formed the house "Shadow" and started the reign of destruction in 2746 AD." Tucker replied, nonchalantly. Nekko just stared at him blanky. "Oh, forgot you don't know what I'm talking about. Never mind." he said. "Oh, I understand." Nekko said. "They're the bad guys." she said calmly. Jokingly, Tucker said "Yep, they sure are. What would you do if you met them?" he said. Nekko laughed as she uprooted a nearby tree with her bare hands. Shocked, Tucker leapt back. Nekko continued with her little demonstration by chucking the small fir into a nearby field. "Uh.. Nekko.." Tucker began. "Yeah?" she said innocently. "Are you sure you don't remember anything about your past?" he asked. She just shrugged. * * * Computer Log Entry 29 It has been a strange time here, since I slided into this time. I've met many friends, some new some old, and made some enemies, some new and some old. It's been a while since I've heard from Cecil.. I wonder what's happened to him? I do miss Edge and Rydia.. especially their chemistry and how they tried to hide it. Since Jidoor, I've lost complete track of the party I had travelled with. Doma was interesting for it was here I met a rather.. unusual girl named "Nekko Bauer".. the name taken off her trenchcoat. Last I heard, Setzer was building a new ship, to replace the old one he has used in the battle. Didn't he do that already? I've completely lost track of Xyo.. and Lich. What's up with those two, anyhow? I wonder what happened to the rest of the fiends and my best, oldest, yet youngest, friend Garland? End log. Tucker looked up at the night sky, the cold wind whistling through the blades of grass, sparks from the fire reaching up to the moon. "Alone again." he said aloud. No real friends to interact with, still on the run from the beast.. still the lone warrior. Why does it always end up like that? he asked himself. He heard a slight shuffle to his right and he turned to see Nekko shifting in her sleep. "Okay, maybe not alone." he said. He returned his gaze onto the night sky and swore to himself he would find Garland before long.. and then beat the living daylights out of him for leaving like that.
