I can tell you the how but not the why: They're removed by 
the protocol module itself, not by the akill module. I think
they should be removed by the akill module though - it 
shouldn't be that hard to do, although the module loading order
might have some effect. I shall give it a go when NTL restore my
damn broadband.... ;)
