[IRCServices Coding] argh problems problems..

I agree, it's not a very good solution.  Although, I've been a fan of
ircservices ever since I began using it, and I will do what it is you've
asked.  Except, I cannot drop the channels.  The best I can do is restart
services hoping like you've said that it will fix the problems, and since
5.0.2 came out that gives me a *reasonable* reason to global notice my
network stating why services are being restarted.
