Thanks, this worked. I had re-run the configure script, but I didnt remove
the config.cache. Once I removed it , it compiled just dandy.

BTW - wasnt there mention of another list for ircd based stuff. I'm sorry to
have spammed you guys, but dalnet dont support it anymore, and i reconed
that the chaps
that WOULD know would be the chaps on this list. I was right, and my problem
was sorted
