[IRCServices] operserv problem

Hi,

I'm using services version 5.0.37
bahamut-1.8(01)

I'm trying to access operserv. My nick is registered. I'm identified.
I have oper status and my nick is listed in ServicesRoot.

I get access denied whenever I try to use operserv.

I do get a log entry saying I'm not an oper

[Aug 02 20:15:51 2004] operserv/main: Non-oper
xxxx!xxxx at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx sent: help

I can access oper command but not anything to do with operserv.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
