     I've added a PowerPC workaround for the GCC __builtin_* bugs (now
also documented, see FAQ B.1.5) and fixed up a couple of other issues, so
Services should now compile and run without problems on stock (but recent!)
MacOS systems.  I've done some rudimentary testing, but please let me know
of any problems.
