     Judging from the lack of response, it looks like nobody's written
anything like that.  Personally, I'd recommend taking the time to just read
the manual; in particular, section 3 is a good description of exactly how
Services works and what you need to keep track of.

     Yes, you do, and yes, you should make sure you register the nick
before anyone else does.
