     This release of version 5.0 changes the behavior of the ChanServ
DEPROTECT command.  Previously, this command would remove channel owner
mode (e.g., +q on Unreal) in addition to channel protection mode (+a);
however, it was pointed out that this has the potential to be abused by
malicious users with sufficient privileges, so the DEPROTECT command now
leaves channel owner mode alone.

     As usual, I recommend upgrading to version 5.1, but if you are
continuing to use version 5.0, you may want to consider upgrading to
5.0.64.
