Just first comments on this:

For an alpha, it looks great, I would put it on my (small) production
network would it be for a rather annoying bug:

IRCServices 5 seems to have a few problems shutting down... on one of
my servers, it dumped 16Mb of "Server Segfaulting" messages to the
log before dying, and on the second attempt dumped a similar amount
to SNotices (granted it gave my test network a good load test ;) On
my other server, it sapped up all the CPU, and required a reboot. (I
was stopping services both by /squitting and by SIGTERM).

Other than that, I love it :) The mailing features look pretty swish,
and although I haven't looked at the modules much, it looks good.
