Hi!

Just found out that there is a serious(?) flaw in mailhandeling. If the
mailserver is down you won't get any mail when you register, and it's
not placed in any queue so it wont be sent later when the mailserver is
up again.

~From my logfile (I have replaced the hosts and username):
[Nov 09 18:14:24 2004] nickserv/main: my_nick registered by
my_nick at host.tld (user at host.tld)
[Nov 09 18:14:26 2004] sockets: connect(1 -> mail.host.tld:25): No route
to host
[Nov 09 18:14:26 2004] mail/smtp: Connection to server failed for socket
0x813d4f0

Andrew, is this something you could fix? Atleast add a backup server to use.

Thanks!
